Great trip - good selection of shops and coffee, cake, tea rooms. Has a wonderful view of the beach front.

The pier very much fits with Southwold's image as part of the traditional English seaside. The pier is small but has a cafe and restaurant (which we did not use), and a fun amusement arcade which is quite eccentric and has to be experienced! There are good views of the coast and, if in Southwold, it would be a shame... More

A wonderful english sea side pier which takes you back in time. Make sure to see the water clock come to life on the hour.

Short pier that's well maintained and has restaurant, gift shops and a really fun water clock. Great views along the coast.

Smart pier. Nice cafes and we also had a really nice meal early evening with views of the sea.
