We went on Easter Sunday and were pleasantly pleased to see most of the shops open. We got the tram from Manchester Piccadilly Gardens, at £2.80 return we thought was very reasonable, and was there in 20 mins. All in all a nice place. Friendly and helpful staff, discounted or free parking with purchases, good selection of food spots and a fair few bargains up for grabs in some great shops. You'd want to consider parking up here and grabbing a bite to eat before heading over to the The Lowry just across the way.

This mall is ideal to get around in one day. It is a good car ride away from central Manchester so you would need to drive or take a cab. The Lowry is a multi-story, multi-venue shopping, entertainment and arts centre located on the banks of Salford Quay and very close to Media City. Good selection of shops under one roof and very convenient when visiting the Lowry/Imperial War Museum etc

Easy to get to and park. It is only small in comparison to say to the one near Ellesmere Port but still offers some great bargains. The location is what sets this mall apart, a great place to visit even if you don't shop.
