A few new bars/cafes on the harbour arm have opened to conpliment the turner gallery. Lovely place to sit with wonderful views of the coast.
Unfortunately everything shut when we visited this time in mid-March, but in April last year cafe's, bars, live music and galleries were really buzzing. Stunning sunsets from the Arm and don't forget to visit the shell lady (Mrs Booth?) at the end.

Smelly, dirty, just a sad area. The cafe looks horrible, It all looks as if it needs clearing. Just sad
I visited when the PS Waverley visited in September and got some great photos of the paddle steamer. There was some filming with an old Dr Who actor which was more irritating than interesting as actor hangers on think they own the place. The arm gives a nice view of Margate seafront and is next to the underwhelming Turner Centre.
