We had a lovely day out taking a round trip on the K&ESR. Our two year old grandson seemed to love every minute and, it was great to see the staff and volunteers dressed up in 1940's garb to promote their forthcoming 40's weekend in early May.

I was given the course as a 60th birthday present, and attended with my son who also went on the day. We had a fantastic time, and would recommend the full day to anyone. Nice day out, we booked afternoon tea on the way back which was really nice. They also do the Thomas the tank days out too which are really great.

A nostalgic return to the days of steam! It's a joy for adults and children and the Thomas the Tank engine days are superb. There's a good cafe and on-train eateries too.

It's good for the kids, but not alot else to do. It is very overpriced given what you get.
