As a family we've been to conkers a few times now, we just wished we lived a bit nearer. I always find it a bit pricy, but it is an attraction and most things inside are free so there aren't anymore costs. During the summer months they have things like pony rides, bouncy castles etc but you do have to... More

After seeing mixed reviews of Conkers on here I was reluctant about going, but as it was only a 45min journey and I found a discount voucher online, we braced ourselves for a visit over the May bank holiday. Well 5 hours later we weren't disappointed! We took our boys aged 6 & 3 and they had a great time.... More

Gorgeous country park with plenty to discover inside and out. Indoors for exhibits and crafts when it's cold outside, covered theatre for shows when it's wet and fantastic assault course - don't miss the Fathers' Day race.

Our visit was,nt helped by the constant rain. There was not much to do inside and the children were bored after a while.Would have been better if we could have made use of the huge range of outdoor activities. The terrential rain spoilt the day.

Went to Conkers for the first time this week. Had to queue for a while to get in and it was very busy. We had a go at pond dipping which kids (6&8) and I found really interesting and educational. Some play equipment and the labyrinth were closed for repair but we enjoyed the clown show and the animal display.... More

This is a really good place to go, whether you are a child or an adult you will be able to undertake 'hands on' activities and learn lots of things. Also, lovely gardens to see.

Me, my husband and 2 children, aged 5 and 2 went here having heard plenty of good reports about it. Well I can only say it is terribly overrated. Much of the outdoor area is run down and in need of some real attention. There's supposedly 2 mazes but why these were called mazes is anyone's guess - just a... More

We were looking forward to visiting Conkers, something a bit different and outdoors. We left within an hour. It was that poor. As some other reviewers have pointed out, a number of the outdoor 'attractions' are either closed or so run down they are pointless. Indoors the advertising promises a treetop experience. Yes, you go up some stairs above some... More
