This is great for the kids - lovely bit of nostalgia. Would say to anyone going to Cleethorpes for the day in the summer to try this out. Good fun.

Rode from the central pier area to the boating lake area. Can easily walk this section but, kids would like the small carriages. Boating lake area well worth a visit. Not cheap, but as it is privately owned and well maintained it's worth the price. It runs from Pleasure Island theme park down to the more central areas of Cleethorpes. Special trains at Halloween and Christmas. It's worth looking around the Stations and having a drink at the small but perfectly formed Signal Box Inn.

only goes two stops...grandson liked it...but i feel its overpriced

our 4 year old loved going on it. It was good seeing the scenery from the train. We paid for the full track we went from the leisure center station then got off at where the cafe is then got on and did the rest of it.

have enjoyed visiting since childhood and my nephew loved it when he was small. Now my favourite place to take my son

A must if you visit Cleethorpes or indeed if you live there. Great for young and old. It now has an extended run along the sea front and the little cafe and booking office is like going back in time.
