The converted station buildings and train shed offer a cinema, cafe, small range of specialist shops, art gallery, toilets, and a "heritage" room. The conversion of, and extension to, the original buildings has been carried out sympathetically and a successful multi-purpose venus created.Coffee and cakes were sampled and found to be excellent! For old rail buffs like myself the slideshow in the heritage room is de rigeur.

Imaginative use of old station: leisure facilities, small specialist food shops, art gallery, 2 screen cinema and very good cafe. Local food well prepared and presented.

Been here a few times now, 1st time we went we had a meal then went to watch a film. Expensive food and drinks. The cinema's are small & cramped and look like they are made of scaffolding. They get up to date films which is probably best thing about it.

Living locally in the rural community this is a wonderful facility. Two small cinemas showing up-to-date films, combined with a bar/cafe/restaurant, a warm and welcoming environment and ample parking. What more could you ask.

Have visited the station a number of times since it first opened. People go there for a number of reasons. It has a two screen cinema showing the latest films. The cafe is good but a little expensive as there is no table service. The angles share bakery and archers Ice cream are both top notch. Well worth a stop... More

Richmond Station is an amazing conversion. It is a terrific example of what the local community can achieve with determination. As a centre it is attractive in both winter and summer. In winter despite the size of the space it is warm and welcoming. Often there is an exhibition of art as now. There are two cinemas. There is a... More
