It's a long walk to get there from the farm to the beach. But when you get there what a place. It's one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. No facilities. Apparently frequented by nudists but even if the day had been warmer there is so much room.

As a previous reviewer noted, this secluded beach is not easy to find. But it's worth it. South of Holy Island find 'Ross' on the map and park where indicated - this is a working farm and it is all too easy to obstruct farm vehicles. Be considerate!

Hard to find but worth the hunt the car parking is 1.5 miles from the beach itself. It is a flat walk through a working farm and then over the dunes to lovely white sand with Bamburgh Castle at one end and Lindisfarne Castle at the other. I cant think of anywhere other beach with such landmarks and this makes...
