Grass paths had been cut so we could enjoy nice walks.

Plenty for the children to do. Our daughter loved the broomstick flying lessons

Theres bits of it left but its no where near the other castles in the area

a few ruins running up from the riverside, and a couple of old plaques, most of the stone was taken to build the station and royal border bridge, best viewed from at train passing through.

what a lovely walk,you get some brilliant views of the northumberland coast,lovely cafes just around the walls

All thats left of the grand Berwick Castle is the dungeons after the stone had been taken for the massive Royal Border Bridge. You can take the splended river walk along the New Road that takes you through the dungeons they are not a place you would like to stay in for sure.

We did not go in but saw it from the motorhome, lovely.
