Great, a must see and nice couple hours out. Went with my wife having stayed in oxford for two nights . Having read about this model for years in railway mags it was nice to see it. Free cup tea at the end.
A set of clever and satisfying representations, excellently edited
This railway exibit has been slowly maturing over many years, and like a fine wine gets better with age. The dedication and hard work of the modelmakers is outstanding. Railway mad youngsters and ("oldies") alike will be entranced by the level of detail, and will no doubt hold ambitions to emulate some of the layouts on show?

This sounds harsh but all I'll say is that our 6 year old son, after 20 minutes, said "is that it?" he isn't that demanding either. model trains weren't running. sincere apologies to the person who spent their time making the exhibits but pants! sorry!
Great wet weather outing but not for very small children. Takes about an hour to see. Small cafe and gift shop.
