We went to Blackbrook for a family birthday party and really enjoyed the experience. There is a wide variety of animals and birds including penguins. It is an outside venue with little shelter when it rains.

ok its not a zoo..its mainly birds lots and lots of birds, but its nice. ITs not chester zoo by any stretch, but its small friendly and sweet. We had a Groupon voucher so excellent value for money. As the other reviews have stated there are plenty of animals to see. My 5 year old particularly liked the penguins and meerkats. All in all a great day out and even my 15 year old enjoyed it albeit the chicks that they feed the Owls with made him squeamish.... More
