We visited here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed but it was the last day of using the Groupon Voucher. We hadn't come prepared with a picnic, so was then envious of everyone sitting around eating theirs, as the Cafe was chocca and queuing a dozen deep out the door, so we ended up with an ice... More

We went to Blackbrook for a family birthday party and really enjoyed the experience. There is a wide variety of animals and birds including penguins. It is an outside venue with little shelter when it rains.

I came here with a friend and my baby for a nice day out. My admission (adult with no discount) was £9 which I thought was quite expensive but as I had not been before, I didn't know what to expect (if you can, try and get an offer/deal). The welcome at the reception was nice and the lady talked... More

The park was good and interesting with plenty to see. No maps were available as they had run out which did make us worry we were missing out certain areas of the park. The Scarlet Cafe is horrendous. They had run out of jacket potatoes, burgers, salad dressing, egg mayo, etcetera so we ordered oatcakes which we then had to... More

We purchased groupon tickets for here along with most other people so it only cost us £3.50 each. We looked it up on the internet first so knew roughly what to expect although it was a lot larger than we thought and took us over 2 hours to see everything. It was very nicely spaced out with seperate paths to... More

To be honest, I am from Staffordshire (although I live in Manchester now) and I had never heard of Blackbrook Zoo. I saw it advertised through Groupon, and decided that as my elderly parents live in Stoke still, I would take them for visit, as they enjoy animals and birds especially. Well, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.... More

We had a Groupon voucher so excellent value for money. As the other reviews have stated there are plenty of animals to see. My 5 year old particularly liked the penguins and meerkats. All in all a great day out and even my 15 year old enjoyed it albeit the chicks that they feed the Owls with made him squeamish.... More
