Fantastic facility for the rehabilitation of the Tassie Devil, educational and interesting. The facial tumour is devastating, and it was well explained. The tour started with a short video presentation and a talk by the very passionate Nicole. A little devil was then brought in for us to have a closer look at and a quick pat -the very sweet... More

I'm not that keen on animal parks and zoos. I don't like seeing animals in captivity, though I appreciate that some of them do very valuable work in terms of breeding programmes and so on. We've been to Cradle Mountain quite a few times but decided on this occasion to go to Devils @ Cradle because of the reviews and... More

Nicole gave us an insite to the devils with passion and really showed the dire position these true natives are in.. It was amusing watching them haggle over their food, reminded me of our kids as young ones with lollies!

I don't know why this is listed as being in Sheffield. Sheffield is about 1 hour away from Cradle Mountain National Park, and Devils@Cradle is right at the entrance to the park. It is the perfect adjunct to a visit to Cradle Mountain. (Pick up some food in Sheffield on your way up the mountain...) We did the night-time tour,... More

Just returned from 5.30pm session at devils. Such an informative visit as well as a hands on experience. Worth the admission of $27.50 and you are helping a valuable cause too.

We went to 8:30pm Night Feeding, highly recommend. Turn up 30 mins prior and you can checkout all the Devils & Quolls. The kids loved the antics of the Quolls, jumping up the fence and along the branches. The tour then started with a short video and then a very informative talk from a very passionate tour guide. Then we... More

Devils@Cradle is a brilliant introduction to devils and their lesser known cousins, quolls. The keepers are passionate about their work and the animals they care for. Whilst the video was geared more towards overseas visitors, the talks by the keepers illicits far more useful information for all. It was interesting to pat a devil, and the photos we took turned... I had my sons with me and we took the 5:30pm tour which included a of feeding the devils. As the guide explained about the devils, you can tell that she is really passionate about the plight of the devils as I could see her eyes tearing. We also got to pat a rather friendly devil on his back. And... More

Great value. We spent an hour or more here at Devils @ Cradle. They have several pens containing Tasmanian Devlis, both male and female plus Quolls. The best feature of the park is the time they take with groups to explain their conservation efforts, the life of the Devil, and more. The guide also went into great detail on the... More
