I hate to say this, because this is uch a beautiful and serene place to visit in the spring and summer, but my experience was very bad. We were walking in the rock/water garden, and my daughter who is only 2 1/2, was splashing the water with her hands. She was having a very good time, and no one else... More

Inniswood was created from the legacy of the Innis sisters, who left their home and property to the Metro Parks system. The entire park is 121 acres, with walking trails, special areas for children and the lovely Sister's Garden. The garden changes with the seasons, and is extremely popular for wedding and special occasion photographers, so expect large crowds on... More

This is a GEM in Westerville! It is the most beautiful park we've ever been to in Ohio. It is FULL of flowers, rose bushes, trees, unique planters, fun kid areas (treehouse, secret garden, Grandma's house, barn, water feature to play with, frog ponds) and lots of walking trails. The park has a beautiful waterfall feature that empties out at... More

If you are a gardener, you will love Inniswood. It's also great if you want to take a nice little hike (a mile or two) on paved paths. The herb garden is particularly noteworthy. I enjoy visiting it in the winter as well, again for a nice little hike a lovely environment. A downside is the intrusion of traffic noise... More

We love the frog pond and the boardwalk trail. There's a tree house for the kids to climb, herb garden, secret garden, and windmill. It is one of our family's favorite places to visit. The staff and volunteers do a fantastic job keeping the park looking so beautiful.

Looking for gardening ideas? This is your place. Gardens run from natural to formal. Plants are labeled so even the novice can understand how these are used in garden settings. Great place for a peaceful and quiet walk.

Remember that you have to walk to the trails to get to anyplace for the kids to play - even then, they do not have a playground.

Inniswood Metro Gardens has a wonderful variety of garden areas, including herbs, roses, ferns, and a lovely rock garden. Take the nice path (gravel and wood) through the woods; stop and see the small pond with frogs and turtles as well as the children's area. In the spring, the wildflowers in the woods are beautiful. This park is large enough... More
