Spring break 2023 was a success!
Me & my grandsons really enjoyed our visit! Lots of interesting stuff! Human & animal bones were really cool. The building is small but spaced out well, this was our first time to visit & we were pleasantly surprised!

Overwhelming. Good grouping by "families" for easy comparison.
The building looked small so I wasn't expecting much. Overwhelming! There are so many skeletons grouped by what they were and making comparisons easy. A tiny bit of information on the animal (I would have liked more details), well lit and arranged, two floors with a narrow staircase, and examples of deformities.

    Pretty cool!
We took our teens to this and they liked it. I liked how they showed the process of how they get the bones. If you have a weak stomach, you might want to pass on that part. You do get to touch the bones on display that are outside the cases. I liked how they set it up. It's not exactly in Oklahoma City. It took us about an hour to go through both levels. They do have games for kids so if your children like to play the scavenger hunt, it might take longer.

This museum is interesting and captivating. It is a clean, bright experience where touching is allowed for some skeletons that are not in displays behind glass. Jay, the founder, was working on a display and we had the opportunity to speak with him. We saw animals of all kinds - some that we had never heard of. There is an area with activities for smaller children to enjoy. There are benches to rest on as you make your way through the exhibits. Everyone will learn something from the thoughtful, imaginative, and informative displays.

Beautiful bones: some of the skeletons are absolutely beautiful with their delicate bones.
There is such a wide assortment of animals, from tiny birds to elephants and a giraffe. If you can get the kids to slow down a bit and actually read the signs or do the scavenger hunt there is a lot to learn. We do a sweep of the museum to look at all the displays and then look at the scavenger hunt to see what the kids overlooked. It is really great that it is so hands on. It’s nice to be able to touch, feel and even handle some of the skulls.

    Must-see museum!
The sheer number of skeletons on display was jaw-dropping (pun intended). The meticulous arrangement and attention to detail in showcasing the diverse animal skeletons made the museum both educational and downright cool. Walking through the exhibits felt like taking a stroll through the animal kingdom's bony history, from the tiniest birds to the mighty elephants. The interactive elements, like the touch tables and games, added an extra layer of fun. It's not just a museum; it's a celebration of the intricate architecture of the animal kingdom.

We came to OKC for spring break and this was definitely the most interesting thing we did! The collection is amazing and my 5 year old twin boys loved finding their favorite animals (so did I!). The museum offered a scavenger hunt for different age ranges and that made it a little more interactive, so I definitely recommend grabbing the sheet before you go in. They had a quirky little gift shop as well.

We have brought our kids here since they were little. They are now teens and still enjoy coming here. Definitely a hidden gem in OKC.

I took 3 kids on summer break on a week day. It was surprisingly busy. It is not a large museum, one building split into two layers it is well done with great presentation. My kids liked the mutated double calf skull, and the wide variety of animals.

We were there for one hour. It was around $60 for a family of 5 which wasn’t super cheap for an hours entertainment.

It is a neat museum. I was glad to check it out but once was probably enough.

I would suggest a bit more interactive stuff for kids under 10. But it is really interesting to see so many skeletons. I would give it a 3.5. It is a little pricey, but worth it for one trip. Probably not a repeat visitor.
