Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a blast! We got to town, contacted Skip, and we're off in 20 minutes for a very informative, fun and self paced trip. We went everywhere we wanted to go; OKC Federal Building, Murad Gardens, rode along the canal. Worth every penny, a the perfect social distance day trip. Can't wait to come back and book another tour.

Hubby and I I took the 2 hour tour. It was one of the highlights of our weekend. The tour guide was very thorough with his instructions, very patient to stop when wanted to take photos, and very informative about Brick town, Oklahoma City and its history. He was enthusiastic and encouraged us to be as well. I would highly recommend this.

I went on a Segway tour of OKC with this company back in 2012 with three out of state visiting relatives and it was excellent. The tour guide was knowledgeable, fun, and had a good grasp of OK and OKC history. That wonderful experience is why I booked with this company again for other visiting relatives from out of state. I'm not so sure I'll book with them again though.

Our tour, as confirmed by the owner on the phone, was for 10:30 am. We arrived at 10:15 and a group of three was already getting instruction by the owner on how to use the Segways. When I approached the owner for our tour, he said that when we didn't show up at 10 am he decided to book the group of three. I was taken aback, given that not only had he confirmed the 10:30 time, but also because he did not call me when we weren't there at 10 to see if there was a conflict.

Nevertheless, our party, now eight in total (I was disappointed that we didn't get our own tour), all got instruction on the use of the Segway. The instructions were given rather bluntly, and at times a little on the rude side. The two hour tour went through the areas that I remember from my tour six years ago, but in reverse order (which was fine). Downtown OKC was hopping that day as there were a number of graduations going on. There were also a number of detours due to construction (which, if the owner had scouted them out prior to the tour we could have avoided).

The pro's of the tour: The Segways are fun to use. Fortunately, they are pretty intuitive in terms of how to start/stop/turn. Passersby along the way enjoyed watching us, which was fun since virtually all said something nice like, "That looks like fun!" or "I didn't know OKC had Segway tours!" We saw many great places in OKC, including the OKC Memorial, the Land Run Monument, Chickasaw Ballpark, and others. A bottle of water is provided, along with a helmet. The owner took pictures of us at various places along on the tour (we gathered as a group on our Segways and he got off his and took the pics).

The con's of the tour: We stopped, i.e. got off the Segways, at just two places: The OKC Memorial, and an area just beyond the Land Run Monument. One or two more stops to get off the Segways would be better for our feet and to stretch a bit. A good stop would be at the actual Land Run Monument (as we did on my 2012 tour) to take our own pictures, etc. But I'd say the biggest "con" was the owner's narrative during the tour. Two of us are history buffs, and sorry to say that the owner was a bit off on a number of facts. He also glossed over some notable buildings and landmarks, and missed some of them all together and then called out, "Oh, we just passed..." It was a shame because the tour ain't cheap, and I felt that this tour was not nearly as good as my previous one.

Suggestions to the owner: In addition to some fine-tuning of the delivery of Segway instructions and the tour narrative, please provide a couple of larger helmets than what is currently available. Also, on hot days, the option of an earlier start time would be appreciated.

The best way to tour Bricktown, Downtown, Memorial and Canal is to take the 2 hour segway tour. Its great value for money. The guide was knowledgeable about Oklahoma City and of course segway touring. Morning tour before it gets hot is an excellent way to visit sites.

We were recently in Oklahoma City for a motorhome rally. I never had ridden a Segway and was a little apprehensive. However, we got some great personal training and practice before hitting the sidewalk. We went all over Bricktown and saw all the major highlights and the great outdoor sculptures. We then went into town and saw some of the more interesting areas that have been developed. A highlight was a viewing of the Oklahoma City National Memorial. A great way to see a large area without wearing yourself out!

I called to clear up some confusion about conflicting information on the web site. On the "Book Now" page, it said "Currently we are only able to offer tours in the morning hours. Morning tours must be concluded by 12:30 pm". Yet when I clicked on "See Available Dates and Times", it showed available times of 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. I asked the person who answered the phone(whom I gathered was the owner) about a 12pm booking. His reply was "I don't get out in the heat" and offered a 9:30 booking. I was resigned to the fact that we would probably have to do it another time, so I replied that 9:30 wouldn't work because it's a 2 hour drive and I was just going to thank him for his time and hang up when he interrupted me and said that he wouldn't book us for a later time just because we didn't want to get out of bed. His tone was condesending and snarky thoughout the conversation, but I just blew it off until he said this and then I informed him that at no time now or in the future will he be getting our business. It is mind-boggling that anyone would speak to a potential customer in this manner.

This was particularly disappointing as my wife and I did a Segway tour in San Antonio last year and had a blast. I found out soon after our trip that OKC had a similar tour, so I've been wanting to do this for over a year.

I'm sure the tour is great and perhaps this guy was just having a bad day. But we'll never know because there is a zero percent chance I ever patronize this business.

I was really apprehensive about going on a Segway as I am not overly coordinated and suffer from poor balance. I needn't have worried! The instruction was great and very personal. Our guide ensured each of us was comfortable before we set off and he started the Segways on slow mode to get us used to them. Once we'd mastered them he changed modes so we had the full range of speed - great fun!!
The tour was really informative and gave us a real insight into Bricktown and the downtown area. The tour culminates at the site of the Oklahoma bombing and it is treated with the right amount of reverence and information.
I'd highly recommend the tour - it is great fun and a novel way of exploring a new city.

We had a great tour which was informative and fun. There were 2 riders that had never been on a Segway and were initially hesitant, but the guide was very instructive and attentive and by the end there were all smiles. I readily recommend a try.

This tour is very much worth the money. My boys, 12 and 13 years old, absolutely loved it! This was the highlight of our OKC excursions! Not only do you get to enjoy the fun of riding a segway, but Bricktown and the OK Bombing Memorial are very beautiful and interesting sites to see. The tour guide and owner, Skip, is very patient with first time segway riders, and is very knowledgeable about the area.

Had a fantastic time! Stan (?) was so good to teach us how to ride and to be comfortable on the Segways. Even my very apprehensive wife was able to feel comfortable and be confident and thoroughly enjoy her "ride". Highly recommend!! I would suggest doing it early in the day when you don't have to deal with a lot of pedestrian traffic. We will do this again.
