Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

New name but went to okc thunder game. Sat in deck 3 but honestly not bad seats. Could see everything fin and just $16 tickets. Had hotwings which I have to say better than any chain place I’ve been to. Good fun and well worth taking in a game

Been here twice (once for Cirque du Soleil: Corteo, and other for the Harlem Globetrotters). Both times sat in the 100 sections which has great sidelines, and comfortable seats. The staff at the front doors, concessions, and ushers are all friendly and helpful. However, deducting one star for the concourses. Compared to other large sport arenas, the concourse on the 100 level is too narrow and it's easy to run into someone or be ran into by others, even with small crowds.

Stayed close by in Bricktown so we could walk to the arena and catch an OKC Thunder game. Had a blast! Easy to get to, prices reasonable and lots of choices. Game day atmospheres was hype! We had a blast. Great arena.

Nice arena. We went for a Thunder game and had stayed at the Courtyard next door so everything was so easy! Lots of fast dining options.

Thunder up! I thoroughly enjoyed going to Thunder games here frequently. I also had the pleasure of seeing a couple concerts here too!

I've attended many events at the Chesapeake Energy Arena throughout the years, and many for a Thunder game. However, this past season (2019-2020) I've made more of an effort to make it to the Peake for a game. As always, the staff is excellent, and the environment is full of excitement. With the help of the thunder drummers and the roars of the fans, it is easy to consider the Chesapeake Energy Arena, the heart of Oklahoma City.
A day at the Peake is a day well spent, whether you are sitting courtside, club level or up in loud city. The experience may be different from the last, but all a good time!
And as for the team, who was expected to flop in "rebuild" season, they are as fun as ever to watch. From blow-outs and back to back 20+ point comebacks to neck and neck games and cross-court baseball throws for a layup. This group plays team basketball, and they are definitely worth a trip to the Peake!
Chris Paul shows great leadership on this team. Steven Adams is a crowd favorite as always. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has captured the hearts of Oklahoman's as a rising-star. Danilo Gallinari knocking down shots around the arch and Lu Dort starting this last stretch of games as a firecracker with Dennis Schroder coming off the bench as a contender for the Sixth Man of the Year to lead the bench players who, like the starting five are fantastic to watch. I quickly became a big thunder fan once this season started rolling.

Food: 3/5
Service: 5/5
Cleanliness: 4/5
Decor & Style: 1/5
Food is typical stadium food; hot dogs, chili dogs, burgers, fro-yo, etc. Nothing very special. The club deck (forgot what it's called) is nicer, has better selections and "fancier" items, but nothing worth saying "wow".
Service is great, staff is super friendly so that is unusual compared to other stadiums. Stadium is well kept and clean.
The decor is pretty boring for a stadium that was built in 2002. I don't think they tried to be original and just copied a design from the 1980's. The BOK Center in Tulsa was built only 3 years after the Chesapeake Arena and the BOK Center looks LIGHTYEARS ahead of Chesapeake! No excuses, Chesapeake Energy Arena!

Had a visit to Chesapeake Energy Arena for a OKC Thunder game. Easy to navigate and find your seating, helpful staff. Had the opportunity to watch the warmups courtside, before heading to our seats. Plenty of food options, although I was rushed and made some yucky choices, but that's on me! All in all, a good experience.

I attended a Thunder game this past weekend. It is a very nice arena. Very clean and helpful staff. I would definitely attend another event here. Suggest getting a prepaid parking pass for the West Lots.

How about parking? Inside or outside the arena? Too packed or expensive? Or better to Uber to the Arena? Thanks!

The official lot adjacent to the arena costs $35 flat or at the street with official ticket for $10. I took latter as when the game was over we just walked and drove off easily.

Does anyone know where you can go to see the players enter the arena? I’m talking when the bus gets there and they walk to the entrance. Does anyone know where you can go to see them?

What perks come with these seats? The service was $160 from venu

Looking at the ticket prices for the NBA Thunder, this is in the range of the going rate for the lower bowl. I saw some tickets in the $220 range (non resale) for the top row seats in the lower bowl. The lower bowl has nicer more comfortable seating and in the 2nd row of the premier sideline, you will have a close-up view.
Never been to arena. Where can I park? How much does it cost?

You can park on the downtown streets. After 5 p.m., there is no charge for spaces with parking meters.
There are also parking lots which usually charge $5.00 - $10.00.

Marriott Courtyard is next door to the Chesapeake Arena. I've stayed there..rooms are clean..parking is $$. Many other hotels 2 blocks away. And many less expensive hotels outside Downtown but don't be fooled....traffic and parking prior to events gets congested. Many one-way streets around arena area. We took a cab to The Eagles concert in May, 2015...expensive but worth it!
