Visited on 90+ degree day so didn't walk down to see the ruts from the wagons on the trails, but thought the dioramas, etc, very life-like, and the narration overhead using quotes from journals and etc., very interesting. This is a very family-friendly place. I suggest seeing the free movie before doing anything else, as it will really get you in the spirit.
