If your going on the cave tour I recommend you leave your purse and anything valuable at the hotel, because your are going to be crawling around in the dark over rocks and ash(bring a camera). Wear sturdy shoes like hiking or walking shoes (uggs are a bad idea). The guides are full of information and make the tour fun.
