Visited the Multnomah Falls and Horse Tail Falls area on the Sunday of a Memorial Day weekend. It took us an HOUR to drive through the area and to find parking there were so many people there doing the same thing. It was so crowded near the Multnomah Falls Visitor Center that we just kept on going but it never... More

Whether you venture up the steep pathway trail to the upper viewing bridges, or simply take it all in from the quaint park lodge bulit in 1925, at the base, Oregon's Multnomah Falls is absolutely breathtaking. Viewed in Winter, it is an ice covered masterpiece, in Spring, it is thundering down with a renewed strength from the vast cache' of... More

This entire area studded with waterfalls and wonderful conifers along with wildflowers in early spring is a marvelous nature-based exploration. This is for all combination of people, singles, couples, families of all configurations.

Terrific spot to stop and look at the falls. There is a trail up to the bridge which isn't very hard to walk. There is a harder trail up to the top that is beautiful. Lots of switch backs. But you can do it. Worth it.

We have visited several times, in all seasons. Our family and friends from out of town are wowed, and we enjoy the visit. I am in a wheelchair, so I can't go too far up the path to get closer to the falls, but I still get great views. The parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it.... More

I love to visit the falls in the fall when the leaves are turning and there's more waterfalls along the highway to and from the falls than usual. This is a definite visitors site if you're traveling in the area.

unfortunately, it was raining on my day to see the falls and my flight left that night, so no other options. The falls were amazing, despite the rain. Thankfully, not foggy at the top, so I was able to get the full falls experience. The path to the viewing bridge was tree-lined and beautiful. I would love to come back... More

The falls themselves are breathtaking. The visitors center right on the property was very nice. The walk up to the falls is safe and done well.
