The short hike to beautiful Heceta Head Lighthouse is worth every step. Great views of the Pacific and lovely forested areas along the way.

The lighthouse is one of the most photographed on the rugged Oregon coast. You can hike up the trail to the lighthouse itself and see the old lighthouse keeper's residence that has been converted to a Bed and Breakfast. Nearby is Cape Perpetua where you can hike and get some dramatic sea views.

Good sized creek runs into the ocean on the south end of the beach, is a favorite spot for children to splash and play. Short hike up to the lighthouse keepers home and lighthouse (gorgeous view).... This restored lighthouse is a must see if visiting the Oregon Coast. The views from the lighthouse are stunning. You can go up in the lighthouse in a tour or just enjoy walking around the area. They have a small museum and gift shop there also.
