THis is a great little overlooked State Park near La Pine. Som absolutely great walks / hikes in the area. We visit her two or three times a year and never tire of coming back.

This is a clean well organized campground and many things to see nearby. Deschutes River is right there also.

When we camped at La Pine State Park, we found that we were centrally located to many of the attractions we wanted to see in Central Oregon.
