They have many good quality camp sites, not to mention yurts!

Stay in a yurt, you have two large double size bunks and one oversize twin, heat, electric and for the price its well worth it, they are about 1.5 miles from the Ocean, they are awesome.

The Oregon Parks and recreation department do a good job throughout the State and South Beach is a good place to camp with family. The sites are laid out well to give better than average privacy. The playground has a variety to offer and easy access. Lot of trail to take to the beach.

The way I see it, it is salishan or the yurts on the Oregon coast. Beautiful and close to the ocean.

The bike trails are paved and the walk to the beach is short. Even walking or biking to the jetty or the aquarium is great from this state park.
