There's no such thing as a "bad day" when you go to Nye Beach. I go over as often as possible whether it's sunny or overcast. It is easily my favorite beach in Newport! It's within walking distances of unique gift shops, a tea room, arts, and you never know what's going to happen at the turnaround. The last time... more

Im not sure how long the construction will be going on but my son and I went to Nye Beach to check it out on Aug. 22 2007 and on the main stretch there is almost a block of road torn up and being repaired casuing a lot of noise in addition to what looks like rowhouses being built.. We... more
