We were driving by the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse on our road trip north to Canada. We decided to stop by and take pictures of the beautiful view. The view of the bridge was spectacular. The lighthouse is very well maintained. Donations are accepted at the entrance of the lighthouse. more
I've been to the Yaquina Bay lighthouse several times, and I really enjoy visiting it. I think it's cool the way they preserved it show how the lighthouse was also the lightkeeper's home. There's only a few such lighthouses on the Oregon coast that are like that. Supposedly there's a ghost that lives here, but you can decide for yourself... more
This is a very good place to visit if you want to see how lighthouse keepers used to live. The charming house is well-preserved and fully furnished as if a family still lives there. There are hosts here to answer questions and a ghost story about the house too. It's free, but donations are accepted. more
