There were lots of families with their dogs all over the beach. People were having a good time soaking up the sun and breathing the clean beach air. Surfer friendly. Lost of fun. more
I have to say that the devils punchbowl is one of my favorite places on the oregon coast. the last time i went was the first time that i ever actually got the privelage of going into the punchbowl my wife and i had a spectacular time. i highly recomend paying it a visit. more
On our trips along the Oregon Coast we have stopped a couple times along at the Devils Punchbowl. It was named because of a rock formation in a large bowl shape. At the Devil's Punchbowl State Park you can view this interesting hole in the sea cliffs, plus there is a good place to picnic if the weather allows. If the weather is lousy, there is a Mo's chowder house and a place to taste local wines next door. Restrooms too of course, and beautiful views of the coastline. more
