Because the parking lot is on one side of Highway 101 and the beach is on the other, you get a nice windbreak here on windy days. Good spot for picnics, beachcombing, and exploring. Found some small agates here too!

My husband and I stayed in a yurt and it was a wonderful experience. The yurt has furniture, lighting, and electrical outlets. You bring bedding and food.
