There are so many fascinating hands-on exhibits! We spent about 4 hours and wished we could have stayed longer. We are museum freaks and would rate this one as one of the very best!

We love OMSI and thankfully it is only 100 miles from us. They have award winning traveling exhibits and lots of permanent things worth visiting again and again. Their labs, staffed by friendly, knowledgable staff, are like a min-science lesson/camp. Omnimax movies are great as well as the planetarium options.

Lots of cool exhibits. Cool Submarine (USS Blueback). It costs money to go on though. They usually have a limited time special exhibit. once it was fear, once it was body worlds ( Bones and muscles and guts and stuff). You and they will learn something every time. Plan to spend the whole day - there's plenty to do. And you can return to the same shows and never get bored.
