This is a very nice ride. I would suggest taking it over 101. The stops are lovely, and don't forget to see the octopus tree! Each stop is only ten to fifteen minutes. more
I rode the Three Capes route by bicycle on the way to Newport and beyond. At 8 or 9 AM on a weekday morning, the route was still and quiet with virtually no traffic. The scenery varies from quiet shoreline to dark, old-growth forests and I saw plenty of waterfowl. Just a wonderful way to spend the morning. more
