This lake is right by Honeyman State Park about 5 miles South of Florence. The water is fairly warm in the summer. There is pretty good fishing,, I have kayaked here. There are sand dunes and the city of Florence nearby. It is a good day trip for me.

This yurt is very large (its not one of those little ones like the parks have) and has a bathroom and kitchen, as well as an outside propane bbq. It has a pellet stove so we were nice and toasty warm. Right down on the river. My boyfriend caught a salmon right off the dock, not 10 feet from our...

We spent Labor Day weekend, 2011 here at Silt Coos Lake Resort. From the road it didn't look like much...but we had the best weekend vacation with the family we have ever had. The yurt is wonderful and had everything you would need. All you really need is your food.
