It was a great way to learn about the history of Bedford and the surrounding area. I would have loved to see more artisans at work, but the ones who were there were very knowledgeable.

We had a chance to visit buildings that are being renovated for office space and were very impressed with the artisan's efforts to keep the look of the 1800's woodworking.

My kids went on a field trip here and we had a fun, quiet day. Colonial settlers showing their wares and talents in a village setting.

I went here on field trips a few times as a kid. I really want to go there again soon. It's like a quaint little step back in time. Very cute and a good place to learn about our past.

This is a collection of about 40 homes from the area preserved by bringing them to Bedford and supplemting them with living history crafts. Truly charming and very impressive for a small community in the middle of Pennsylvania.

Everything is within easy walking distance. We enjoyed visiting the Fort Bedford Museum and all of the cool and one-of-a-kind shops.

The town boasts a number of antique and gift shops. There are several health-food oriented coffee shops and restaurants. You could do the village in an afternoon or less, but it is worth seeing if you are in the area

There is practically nothing to do here on a Sunday morning except go to church. This is an old town with old town business hours and small privately owned businesses. The shops are quaint but don't wait to see it all after checking out of Bedford Springs as you will have to wait for town to open.
