Ricketts Glen State Park is a wonderful place for nature lovers who just hapen to enjoy hiking and photography. Ricketts Glen is one of our favorite state parks to visit. If you have the time, try renting one of the modern cabins for a weekend. more

This is a very clean, very beautiful park. We hiked many of the trails, and we found them to be well marked and wide. The paths were often covered with a fine gravel. The falls were also marked by their names. The bridges and steps were made of wood and stone, blending into the environment beautifully. We will be back.... more

We visited Ricketts Glen for the first time during the last weekend of July for a getaway from New Jersey. The lake was beautiful and the park was extremely well kept. Stayed July 2006 for two nights in the campground. We are tent campers but all sites are for either RV or tent. We were in #14 and despite being next to restrooms, at this campground, this was not a problem at all. This is more than a state park!!! We went to Ricketts Glen State Park May 21-23 2004. I'm not into camping as much as my husband but would return in a heartbeat!!! The campground is really nice and the lots are mostly wooded with privacy between you and the campers next door (a few are small and not very private).... more
