There are a fair amount of animals at this zoo, but their space was so limited I felt terrible for them. Not sure how these standards are allowed. more

Visited Zoo America on our long Memorial Day weekend trip to Pennsylvania. We did not go to Hershey Park, so we paid separate admission to the zoo (free to Hershey Park visitors). It is a small zoo. . but big enough to put smiles on your children's face. It's not overly crowded so you get through quickly. You do not feel rushed which means you can spend more time at each exhibit without feeling in someone else's way. It is easy to get through with a wheelchair. The people are very friendly.... more

This is a small zoo that was not particularly impressive, especially considering the many zoos I have visited. If you happen to be at Hershey Park, it doesn't hurt to take the kids for a 10 minute walk (literally) around the zoo since admission is included, but I would not make a special trip.
