We took our 3 year old son here and booked online to save a pound each on entry (10.50 for adults, 9.50 for over 3s). Its not brilliantly signposted but once you get there its very well organised. For instance, there are toilets before you go on safari, and they point out peak times and suggest sometimes doing the theme... more

Went to the Safari Park on Friday 21 August and on arrival it looked like everyone had decided that was the day for a trip out to the park! I paid for my tickets 'on line' on their own website and saved £2.00, admission is a fair price and you also have the added bonus of your free return. The... more

We went during the summer holidays. The place was very very busy. By the time we got to the giraffes and elephants I just wanted to get out. Traffic control was not good and a lot of animals were fenced off so couldn't get close. Food rides etc expensive but I guess you expect that. I would probably return and... more

Like other reviewers I recommend the WMSP and also suggest arriving early in the morning or on non-bank holiday weekends to avoid crowds in seeing animals in a very unique setting. It is a great opportunity to see mostly african and south asian animals in large open areas. The park has a mix of different herd animals (oryx, zebra, giraffes,... more

We went on a dull damp weekday in May 2009. I was initially concerned that the animals wouldn't be out and that some of the attractions would be closed, but this was unfounded. Most of the animals were very keen to come and see us, notably the giraffes and wildebeast who loved eating from our hands out of the car... more

We used Tesco clubcard vouchers to value of £11.50 each Driving around and ffeding some of the animals is a fantasic experience. it took us about 1 and 1/2 hours to drive aorund. it was quiet this time of year. (begining of May on a saturday). We then went into the other part of the park - amusments. We were... more

We could not wait to get out of there. I paid £23.00 for two adults and a baby to sit in a traffic jam for over 2 hours in a safari that wasn't up to the standards that you would expect. We started becoming concerned for our safety because of the volume of traffic that was in this safari, it... more

Good day out for people of all ages. We paid the extra £3.50 for the safari bus and found it much better than driving ourselves around the safari, plus there's no chance of getting your windscreen wipers ripped off by a giraffe or paintwork scratched by a wolf! The guide was very knowledgable without being too boring! You get to... more

We went to this Safari Park just a few years ago with a competitive entrance price of £3.75, we visited today to find by the time we got nearer the front of the queue it was £9.25 per person. Quite a shocking increase we think. Also can get very congested so make sure the little ones have visited the bathroom... more

Take your own food, go off peak, dont expect too much. The animal park is good to drive round and see animals that arent in cages. The rides are OK, for kids and young teenagers anyway. Our 10 and 11 year olds loved the rides. You do get a free return entry or even better scrounge one off a relative... more
