I wasn't sure what to expect, as the market I have visited recently haven't been very good. All of the stalls sell different things. Clothing, Food, Green Grocers, Carpets, Electricals, absolutely everything. There are lots of little cafe's where you can eat in or outside. The outdoor part is quite sheltered, and there is also an indoor market. It is... More

Bury Market (The world famous but i've never know why!) has stalls selling all sorts of things. I've bought fabric, chocolates, veg etc from here. Some of the stalls I would pass by, but love the reduced chocolate stall (some short dated / some not) as well as the van that sells hot potatoes.

Stall after stall of smartly laid out meat, fish, fruit & veg selections. The place is full of noise as the various stallholders try and... More

Bury Market is exactly what a good Market should be. Busy, Bustling, full of good stalls, and friendly people. The Cheese, Bread, Bacon, Fruit/Veg and Black Pudding stalls are first class, and are lovely to shop at. Just off the Market is the Shopping Centre, which is also worth a visit, and is packed with nice, varied shops, Close to... More

My Partner runs an Independent living housing scheme with Housing company, and we took our 'Peeps' out for the day to Bury Market. Lots of Bargains, the indoor fish and meat market is amazing. The little cafes are wonderful with lovely patrons, the strawberrys at a pound a punnet are so juicy, My 7 year old Lolli and her 2... More
