Short and sweet this one, if you live or are visiting the Oldham area, and you have the time, have a (usually) terrific night out at the Colliseum Theatre. It often has a musical or particularly northern English theme and the the accent (although I have been living away for a while now). More often comedic than serious it really... More

Just been to see Alfie. It was fantastic, what a great cast. If you can please book and see it. The temporary location of the Grange Arts Centre works well.

We're regular panto-goers, but have tended for many years now only to go to the Coliseum, for the simple reason that their pantos are unfailingly excellent. You won't see top name stars here like you will at the bigger venues, but you will see real actors (and you'll often recognise at least one from TV appearances past) and a panto... More

The productions in this theatre are excellent, they are varied and prices are set at a level where it is affordable. Can't wait to see the newly refurbished theatre and would recommend everyone to support this theatre- its the best thing in Oldham!!

I go every year to the panto which is always great, and have seen a number of plays here too. Serves it's purpose as a community theatre, but no parking and seats are small although it is an old theatre so one should expect that.

This is a genuine, old-fashioned small town theatre but none the worse for that. The small size means you are never far from the stage and this provides a lovely intimate atmosphere. The place is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment but the commitment to live performances is never in doubt. I have had the pleasure of watching... More
