went to cannon hall today with the grandchild and niece,its been a good fifteen maybe more years since my last trip here so thought it was worth a re-visit. Lovely stately home and park, ideal for a day out and stretching your legs.

Been here many times over the past few years and its not just the museum but the grounds, cafe, farm, farm shop, deli, craft sales and everything else which makes it an excellent day out. Can see why Cannon Hall won a Regional Tourist Award this year.

Brilliant place for families to go. You have the farm and house to visit, a lovely coffee shop and lots of space for a picnic !!

they'll love the farm. Good tea/gift shop and the house itself is decent enough to look around..smells a bit foisty though!

Lovely old house with some excellent furniture and architecture, also don't miss the Farm (excellent for children) and very good family restaurant and farm shop - I recommend the sausages!

Very relaxing day out, good parking, nice Garden Centre not too busy. Museum fine but not too much on show. Gardens excellent, lots of people chilling out on the lawns.

This was a great day out especially for kids. Lots of animals to see and the kids could get near enough to see them properly. The sheep race was fun to watch. There is lots of space to let little ones run off some energy

A free atraction which houses some lovely moorcroft.
