Nice food if can be bothered to wait. We waited ages for one course and the staff were not very welcoming either. Shame as it's a lovely place and the shops in the precinct are very good.

had afternoon tea with mum using the £9 groupon vouchers in the bistro. The bistro was very busy with lots of people using their vouchers. Food and service was great and would highly recommend. especially if you have a voucher! I've not eaten on an evening but there is quite a good menu, copy available just outside the bistro.

The food at the bistro was not up to expectations. Overpriced and okay. i would not be visiting again.

This place is off the beaten track in Silkstone Barnsley, has great garden centre and lots of help with plants to buy. Restraunt is very welcoming and all staff very friendly. great tea and scones and lovley coffee. Have a ice-cream go for a walk in country great location

Not all that it promised to be, however, the coffee from the coffee house was to die for and it was dog friendly.

There is just so much going on here that you do need to allow plenty of time if you want to see all of what there is.

You don't have to be just into gardening this lovely Hamlet. It's got a bit of everything, great food, good coffee, friendly staff and if your looking to brighten up your garden or house, they have an excellent seasonal range and the staff have first class knowledge. I highly recommend a visit, you'll want to come back again!
