We spent some time here and really enjoyed it. It gives a good insight to the species of fish available in this area.
A good accessible and informative display of British coastal fish housed in the old lifeboat station. Don't go expecting Seaworld or showy tanks of far-off tropical fish, but this understated attraction is well worth a visit. It was free so seems mean to complain but when I expressed my concerns regarding a large fish that was obviously in distress and unwell, the attendant was quite dismissive and didn't even bother going to look at what I had reported
Tucked away in the harbour, it's worth a visit. Walk around the harbour towards the lighthouse and the aquarium is located in the old lifeboat station. This little aquarium, housed in the old lifeboat station, is well worth a visit. A really good mix of local fish that you can see up close. Well worth a donation to keep it up and running.
