Such a stunning coastline with idyllic views, aqua seas and sandy beaches. You could mistake it for somewhere much more exotic. A great place for photographers, hikers, families etc. Kynance Cove is a favourite. We've been 3 times over the last 7 years. The tide comes in fast so watch out. The beach cafe does great made-to-order sandwiches, jacket potatoes,... More

The coats walk from Kynance round to the Lizard is excellent, even in bad weather. Kynance itself is a beautiful cove. But further round the coast are two historic treasures: Marconi's station where the first trans-Atlantic radio signals were sent, and the Lloyd's building where ships returning to Britain would signal ashore. If only it was easy to get a... More

The rugged coast line at the Lizard is great, I much prefer coming here to going to Lands End. The views are great and I love going there. Kynance Cove is simply my favourite place in England. The beach and rocky outcrops are beautiful. We were there at the end of the season, I could imagine the cove being very... More

Beautiful bays and lovely rugged countryside and beaches, especially if the weather is kind! Plenty of places to eat and drink around the area and people extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and the car park at the top was only £3.50. And the walk will keep you fit!

Just as I remember from my childhood! Beautiful We got to Kynance Cove just after high tide, so there was no beach as such. Clambered over rocks and got to a nice tall rock in the centre of the first part where we sat and watched the tide go out (which is fast). After an hour it had gone out... More

A historic venue that puts on some great plays and pantomimes. Rap up warm, because of the sea breeze, and do something different.

This is a pretty enough spot but we felt, in our first trip to Cornwall, that we had seen other places that were better. The car park attendant was friendly but we wish we had parked in the village and walked down as, by that time, we were fed up with paying high prices for parking a car! There is... More

Have just returned from a week on the stunning Lizard Peninsula. We had a rental cottage for a week a mile from Lizard village and it was a great spot called Church cove, our cottage was 10 mtrs from the sea and as only 3 cottages actually on the cove it was idyllic. Lizard village boasts a couple of pubs... More
