We had booked Dawsons tour and had an excellent experience. It was great tour along the sand dunes, tin city, and snow boarding fun.

You can see the tip of the sand dunes as you make your way up to Port Stephens but for the most part it is hidden from view. As we have young children we opted for a Sandboarding only experience on the Anna Bay side. We went with the big red bus which takes you for a fun ride up... More

We did the Quad Bike tour with the Quad Bike King, and it was fantastic! I was a bit put off initially by the fact that they want you to pre-book over the phone, with a credit card BEFORE they tell you their location, and for $110 per person, that was quick un-nerving. However, we bit the bullet and it... More

we paid $74 for a family (2A 2C) to do sand boarding at the dunes- this include the shuttle to the dunes and use of sandboards. the 50m slope could be a bit overwhelming at first but is very enjoyable! kids love it. there are 3 types of sandboards (slow, average and fast) and my family said that the black... Very busy at Easter, so many tourists we couldn't get in to see it all. 2 hour wait for camel rides and other activities with long waiting times. Limited parking.

Well worth the drive to see this. Spectacular views and we also saw a huge pod of dolphins surfing.

This place is absolutely amazing. Miles of never-ending sand dunes and all for no cost. Just remember to take a hat and a drink-bottle because it can get boiling hot. Tip: Go for a swim then go into the sand dunes
