This is collapsed railway bridge that has been converted to a viewing platform. Quite an amazing view. We were lucky to go on a weekday and were the only visitors. Definitely worth the stop if you're in this scenic part of Pennsylvania

The bridge here is a piece of PA history. Visited this many times as a child and it is a shame the tornando destroyed such a beautiful railroad bridge. If you are a railroad buff it is a must see. You can now in the summer walk out on this bridge that is still stnading to see the view

I travel through the area a few times a year. I like to see something new each time. This was definitely worth the hour detour. The autumn scenic view doesn't get prettier than this. It's a bit windy up there.

Whenever we're in the area, we visit the Kinzua bridge park. For me, it's sentimental as my husband proposed to me on this bridge (before the 2003 tornado). We visited the new Skywalk on our recent trip and it's very cool to see how they preserved the existing bridge structure after the tornado. The glass floor on the end of... More

The Kinzua Viaduct was once the longest (over 200 feet long) and tallest (300 ft) railroad structure. A tornado hit it in 2003 leaving just a few towers, the state parks built a walkway out about 600 feet and there is a glass platform that only the brave will venture out onto. I clung to the railing. The view were... More
