We rented out the top floor for an awards banquet, and found it to be a superior alternative to a typical hotel ballroom. Heinz staff was friendly and helpful, and the catering was well done and efficient. The real kicker is the balcony looking out over Pittsburgh. Very pleasant atmosphere. We had a crowd of about 250 people, and there... more

We visited the Heinz History Museum for one reason and one reason only - to see the SIX Super Bowl Trophies - all lined up for everyone to ooh and aah over. Seeing the trophies was like visitng a rare and priceless piece of art. A velvet rope and security guard separate you from the glass case containing the Steelers... more

This is an interesting museum with widely varied exhibits. They have a large section on local sports - not just the Pirates and Steelers, but all sorts of other sport too. There are sections on local industries such as glassmaking, and historical artifacts such as a trolley car. It's so widely varied it's hard to describe, but certainly worth a... more

Spent about 3 hours here in early April 2009. There were many great exhibits on the history of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. My favorite exhibits were the ones dealing with Heinz and Glass. Both were really well done. Breezed through the sports museum as it is not my cup of tea but many others will enjoy it. They also had an... more

If you are from western Pennsylvania or have relatives from the area, the museum will be an incredible array of nostalgia. There is a photographic exhibit about the Greensburg floods, Heinz artifacts, a fantastic exhibit of Pittsburgh sports memorabilia. The museum is a gem and not to be missed. As a native of Pittsburgh, I found so much to see... more

While vacationing in Pittsburgh, I took the family to the history museum on a rainy, Sunday afternoon. It was an excellent value for the money. The exhibits were well done and interesting. There are several floors, so it takes a few hours to see the entire museum. This is worth the trip if you are visiting Pittsburgh. more

I didn't visit the entire museum; I only visited the sports museum located inside the center. It takes up two floors and is filled with memorabilia from all sports, including bocce and track. I went with the intention of scoping out Dan Marino stuff and found a few neat items he donated. I'm not a Pittsburgh sports fan, but enjoyed... more

The Regional History Centre is great place to learn about Western Pennsylvania's history, while also escaping the intense humidity. The Museum contains many exibits including: a sports exibit, Heinz Ketchup, Regional Antiques and Culture, Western Pennsylvania's developent since the beginning of America, and much more. This museum doesn't contain anything particularly exciting, but it is a good place to spend... more
