From mummies to dinosaurs to art this museum has it all including speciality exhibits. It's a small museum but very well run and the exhibits are all interesting. I learn something new every time I visit.

My husband and I took our 8 yr old daughter to visit the museum and she loved it. I was surprised because she has a very short attention span and nothing really captures her eyes for long but she was so good and so pleased with all she saw and did. The exhibits were clean and well thought out. Staff... More

We went to the Reading Public Museum on a Sunday when they have somewhat limited hours. We took in a show called Tales of the Maya Skies. The planetarium is smallish, but the show was very educational and informative. My pre-teen daughters found it very interesting. Caution- the lighting and the seating are very conducive to napping! After the show... More

This museum is great. The outside grounds are na extra bonus. The museum is full of so many interesting things for kids and adults. They even have their own mummy.

Hardest working little museum I've ever been too. Constant programs, new exhibits, indoor and outdoor entertainment. Been a member for years and always got my money's worth.

A very nice museum--check out the mummy. They do a lot of great feature displays. I love when they feature local art. Great gift shop--I visit before Christmas to stock up on unique gifts.

The museum came under a new director a couple years ago. It's a great cultural experience for children and adults alike. every couple months a new show/ gallery comes through. Next month starts a Andy Worhol exhibit. We are members so we will go to that for sure. The planetarium is right next store and I believe they have shows... More

I spent some time at the American Impressionist exhibit (which is about to close) and in the permanent collection. This is a nice museum that was fairly empty on the mid-week day I visited. It's a great way to spend a few hours.
