I found the museum staff, who are all volunteers to be friendly and helpful. The museum has something for everyone if you have any interest in rails. Worth the money.

Took my then 2 year old, he enjoyed riding the trolley. We enjoyed getting a slice of history of days gone by.
I especially enjoyed taking a ride on one of the old trolleys. The museum filled with trolleys is also fun to see . . . took me back to my childhood when I actually rode the trolleys. Check out "events" too -- we went on a weekend when they also had a car cruise -- saw lots of old cars...

My mother took me here years ago, now I have taken my son and we all enjoyed the trolleys

But you don't even need that, because he was much more interested in climbing into and exploring all the old trolleys in the museum. Great volunteers...

A destination attraction. Nice selection of cars. Trackage follows that of an interurban line that ran from Pittsburgh. Nice intro video. Friendly people. We spent two hours and could have stayed longer. Kids will like the trolley ride
