A little over a mile from Old Harbor. Our party of 5 including two young children walked there. I did carry the 4 year old part of the way and the kids and I took a taxi back. Beautiful interesting place to visit. Paid the extra $5. to walk to the top - worth it. They sell bottled water and... more
Block Island is a great place to visit and take a tour of. Since I am a big lighthouse enthusiast I loved the Southeast Lighthouse, I even walked out, mildly strenous, to it. It made my trip!!! more
The Southeast Light is something of a family thing to me. Having summered on Block Island since I was a young girl I have watched the Island change.
