There are several easy hiking trails around the Wildlife refuge. Very nice views with some signs explaining the history of the region. If your close by, it's worth the stop.

Great nature center. Many free, interesting lectures/talks. Check the schedule for updates. Super walking trails.

Definitely a fun place for a hike. Very scenic. Great for families. Bring your camera! There were tons of birds and flowers. It wasn't crowded at all when we went, we only saw one other couple there. Very easy flat paths, not any rugged hiking. There are many signs with educational information on them that are fun to read along...

I have been to the Kettle Pond visitors center several times, including its opening day. The naturalists are extremely helpful, and the facility with its displays is wonderful.
On Christmas day, my husband and I were walking the trail leading north from the Center when we heard a crashing sound headed toward us. Crouching down, we saw four whitetail deer...
