I attended a birthday party held at the carousel (what a great idea!) for a 1 year great niece. If you have any happy recollections of this or any other old carousel, the music will bring you back to your childhood. Beautifully restored and situated in a small park, the Looff carousel is the only reminder of the old Crescent... More

Beautiful Historic Carousel .... don't miss it (see my photos). We bring my aunt every year for clamcakes and chowder and to watch my kids ride on the Carousel. A piece of history still alive!

Also there's a free concert every Thursday night at the Rose Larissa park across the street during the summer in Riverside.

I loved visiting the carousel when I was a kid - especially when they gave free rides when you showed your report card. I recently went again with my brother and his family. His young daughter was so excited to ride the "horsies" she didn't want to stop. She's too little to ride on her own so an adult had... More

Rode this carousel years ago when my kids were small. They are grown up now but I've always said if I were ever back in Rhode Island, I'd want to find this carousel and ride it again. Tickets for the ride are only $1 and this carousel still has the arm for you to reach out to try to catch... More
