“Well stocked yarn store. Great service!”

During an extended stay in the Beaufort area, I visited this store twice. For a small store they have an excellent selection of yarns. The store was attractive and well organized. Judy was extremely helpful in helping me select complementary yarns and colors for some of my projects. She also wound purchased hanks into balls for me. :)

“Too bad they don't treat all their customers well”

Travelling though Beaufort, I stopped in this shop with my daughters, aged 8 and 10 - both who are knitters as well. We weren't in the shop too long when the owner asked them to stop touching the wool. Interesting, considering her slogan is "touch the yarn. Imagine the results. We'll help". “Charming knitting store in historic Beaufort”

Loved my visit to Coastal Knitting last week. A small but well stocked store with great color selections, a beautiful variety of fibers and lovely samples and classes. The owner was friendly and helpful and I ended up buying some cotton yarn in orange for a fall scarf I am going to make, even though I already have enough yarn... More
