We actually stopped by the Market a few times and had lunch at the BBQ shop (which was very good). While there is alot of "local" merchandise being sold, it gets a little repetitive. The addition of more food items would be nice (similar to the farmer's market on Saturdays). Regardless, it's well worth taking the time to visit.

We have visited this Market many times.....a real tourist attraction. It now has been renovated with a/c so really enjoyable during our hot humid summers. Plenty of items for sale and a real nice place to pick up that one of a kind item

Lots of shopping opportunities, diverse selection of vendors, some local products. Comfortable shopping as you are at least under a roof, and often in air conditioned enclosed space. Easy to visit location from almost anywhere in town, close to the waterfront parks.

Wow! This place goes on forever! It is mostly an open market, however some is enclosed. It has everything under the sun, so interesting. Wonderful place to explore!

They Old City Market has something for everyone! A lot of local vendors were selling food, clothing, and apparel. It was really fun to walk through and see all of the different items for sale, and I'm sure we spend way too much money! The only disappointment was how much the sweetgrass baskets are being sold for. We really wanted... More

The thing I didn't care for about the city market was the vast amount of imported goods that seem to be everywhere these days. Pocketbooks, jewelry, all things that you can get at the local boutique wholesaler if you know where it is. It just wasn't what I expected. I did still enjoy walking through and looking at the local... More

The market is a great place to find souvenirs and merchandise for good deals. It is open every day of the week.
