Janice was very informative and so much fun! She made us laugh and you can tell she really enjoys her job.
We took a tour this morning (A Lovely May Sunday) with Janice and Laddie of the fantastic Old South Carriage Company. What a fantastic pair! Janice has a great sense of humor and provided us with just the perfect amount of information. Laddie, our Belgian, had one heck of a personality too!
We were so very impressed overall with Old...

Our tour guide Mike was great, very knowledgable and open to any question even those from our 4 year old. This is a great family tour as we toured with 3 children ages 3,4 and 9 we found the tour to be relaxing as well as informative the children enjoyed it and stayed quiet. We cannot wait to do it...

Miriam our guide and Earl our eclectic horse, provided us with a great trip around downtown Charleston. I'm a native South Carolinian and have lived in Charleston since 1997, but found there's always some new information to be learned. Entertaining and informative is the way I would describe the trip. Miriam kept up a steady talk, and Earl did his...

This was a great tour given by Ricky who talked non-stop for the hour long tour. As it was raining when we booked the carriage we were the only ones on the carriage. Ricky has a great passion for Charleston and this showed in his guided tour.
We really enjoyed this tour! We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
We were looking forward to this ride, but wound up disappointed with the experience. The ticket takers forgot about our group and we were delayed at least 30 minutes waiting to board a carriage. Once we were underway with the tour, we found our guide to be informative and entertaining (he was a highlight). The good times came to a...

We saw Charleston's High Battery area as well as some of the other 'ritzy' neighborhoods. Ralph was a great leader. He seemed to know every turn and stop and required very little coaching from our guide. I would have...

The carriage tour with Old South was good. I'm sure it gets pretty steamy on that slow moving carriage in the summer. Our guide was just ok. We couldn't hear her and she talked about the horse too much. We didn't learn as much about Charleston as I'd hoped but it was a nice way to see the city.
